Caines, Hodges & Company, P.C has been in business for over 25 years. On November 1, 1988 Donald Caines and Carlton Hodges established Caines & Hodges (a partnership) after a career with the Certified Public Accounting firm of Spillane, Rhoads, Lebey & Sieg (merged with Price Waterhouse in October, 1987), which spanned the time from May, 1978 to November, 1988.

Caines Hodges provides accounting, auditing, and tax services to Chatham and Effingham counties and the surrounding areas. The firm’s auditing and accounting client base has a wide range of industry coverage including manufacturing/wholesale distributors, construction contractors, not-for-profit organizations and local governments. Of course, this list is not all-inclusive. The firm’s individual and business tax client base consists of approximately 500 clients with a wide range of tax needs.

Caines Hodges is committed to tailoring it’s services to the specific needs of the client, whether it be the smallest individual income tax return or the large audited financial statement. The firm has the combined experience of over 60 years of public accounting experience from its partners, and an extensive tax and accounting library to allow it to provide quality service at affordable rates.
